So, your beloved is Hispanic and you want to impress them. Maybe you want to get them that “anillo de diamantes”, or something a tad cheaper: “un ramo de rosas rojas”? Is it your first date? Whatever it is, you better be ready to use some of these phrases to further woo them. And if you feel a bit more courageous you can learn the following song and sing it to them!

Te quiero: I love you

Te amo: I love you. Much more emphatic and persuading.

Te quiero hacer el amor: I want to make love to you.

¿Te quieres casar conmigo?: Will you marry me?

¿Me quieres?: Do you love me?

¿Qué esperas de mi?: What do you expect from me?

¿Quieres vivir conmigo?: Will you come live with me?

¿Quieres tener un hijo conmigo?: Do you want to have a baby with me?

¡Me encanta tu sonrisa!:  I love your smile!

¡Eres tan dulce!: You are so sweet!

Ramo de rosas: A bunch of roses.

Anillo de damiantes: A diamond ring.

Anillo de oro: Gold ring.

Anillo de plata: Silver ring.

Anillo de platino: Platinum ring.

Gracias por la cena: Thanks for dinner.

Gracias por el regalo: Thanks for the present.

Gracias por venir a buscarme: Thank’s for picking for me.

Gracias por la tarjeta: Thanks for the card.

¿Quieres un vino especial?: Would you like us to order a special wine?

¿Quieres postre o te sirvo yo?: Do you want dessert or am I enough?

¿Quieres pasar el resto de tus días conmigo?: Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?

¿Quieres venir a mi apartamento a ver mi colección de cuadros?: Would you like to come and see my art collection at my place?

La cena ha estado deliciosa:  Dinner was delicious.

¿En tu casa o en la mía?: At your place or mine?

Poema de amor: Joan Manuel Serrat
